Nile started Proper Pressure in 2022, washing houses in the eastern suburbs he grew up around. The business still works the same way it did on day one: one owner-operator, based in Belmont, servicing Brisbane's eastern and southern suburbs, the bayside and the Redlands.

The method matters more than the machine. Houses and roofs get soft washed — low pressure and biodegradable surfactants that kill mould and algae without stripping paint, mortar or roof coatings.
